The hundreds of miles of undeveloped coastline have allowed the pelican populations to thrive. This moment in the demise of the 'Cyrillic h' was captured in the tropical savanna of Belize, a remote corner of the world filled with more wildlife than people.An ostrich crosses the desert towards a distant mirage, perhaps in search of water. Namibia.Bubbles frozen into the ice just beneath the surface of a small pond. Temperatures dropped very rapidly to capture these bubbles before they could merge together.These eggs are each a fraction of the size of the head of a pin. They were laid out in beautiful rows, and large prints reveal details that I suspect are individual cells.Ripples on a sand dune in Great Sand Dunes National Park.  I was drawn to the place where two sets of regular-spaced ripples were going in different directions (top and bottom).  When they merged, a slightly chaotic and wider pattern formed in the middle.
